Cleaning, Disinfection and Sterilisation

Care list

Dismantling the components

z

Switch off the device and respiratory gas 
humidifier.

z

Disconnect mains plug.

Drain condensate from water traps.

Drain the water container of the humidifier.

z

Remove expiratory valve or leak valve. Remove 
pilot line of the expiratory valve.

z

Remove the inlet filter of the basic device.

Respiratory gas humidifier, medication 
nebulizer

z

Dismantle according to the relevant instructions 
for use.

Ventilation hoses

z

Remove from the nozzles.

z

To remove the ventilation hoses, always 
hold them at the connection sleeves and not 
the spiral ribbing!

Otherwise the spiral ribbing may become 
detached, e.g. at the connection sleeve, or the 
hose can be torn out of the sleeve.

z

Drain condensate from ventilation hoses.

z

Disinfect and clean ventilation hoses, water 
traps and their removed collecting jars.
