Configuring the switching output
Use the
Use
Output
field to configure which digital output should be activated in the event
of a positive read result. You can activate the output either directly in the RFID interrogator
or in the CDB650 connection module.
Activating the output in the connection module offers enhanced tamper protection, as the
module is generally not freely accessible. This requires the cloning module to have been
inserted in the connection module (see
5.3.3 Inserting the cloning module
If you select the entry
Digital Output 1
or
Digital Output 2
, the digital output is
activated directly in the RFID interrogator.
If you select the entry
External Output 1
or
External Output 2
, the contact is activated
in the connection module.
If you have selected a switching output, the fields
Output Logic
and
Switch output
duration
are enabled so you can make an entry.
Configuring the output logic
In the
Output Logic
field, specify the switching behavior of the output in the event of
a successful read result.
Select
Inverted
if the switching output has the status
High
(a constant voltage
is present) and switches to the status
Low
when it is activated as the result of
a successful read result.
Select
Not inverted
if the switching output has the status
Low
and switches to
the status
High
when it is activated as the result of a successful read result.
