To square the spindle:

Position the spindle over the table surface. Place

a square between the table surface and the side of the spindle,

as shown here. Adjust the position of the spindle as needed.

Once the spindle is square, tighten the

bolts using the pictured pattern to

ensure that they are fully tightened.
