Skin the top of the fuselage from Sta. 12 to 13.
Note:
Although there is no requirement that you do so, the fuselage tail section is
normally skinned in quadrants. That is, the skin is applied in four pieces, with scarf joints
at the top center, bottom center and upper side longerons. An exception is the top skin
from Sta. 12 to 13, which most builders do in one piece. It’s quite easy to make a pattern
for this piece from two pieces of cardboard. Cut and fit one piece to the front and another
for the rear, then tape these together and use it as a template to cut out the plywood.
