Boom tower and floor frames
Preparation
• Check the boom tower for deformations, cracking
and other damage.
•
Check the climbing floor frame for deformations,
cracking and other damage.
• Check the wedges, guides, rollers, and pins for
wear.
• Check the hydraulic lines and hoses for kinking
and chafing marks and other damage.
• Check the valves and cylinders for leaks.
• Check screws for wear.
• Check cables and connectors of the remote con-
trol for damage.
If you detect damage or excessive wear, have the con-
cerned parts inspected by the Schwing after-sales ser-
vice who will then decide whether the parts can still be
used or whether they have to be replaced.
1. Bring the placing boom into vertical position (Fig-
ure 38).

2. Set main switch to “0” Item 1 (Figure 40).

3. Check the oil level in the hydraulic reservoir of the
hydraulic unit.
