Changing the Disposable Blade
Change the disposable blade as necessary.
For the disposable blade, you can use the High Profile type or Low Profile type by changing the adapter
below the blade holder.
Using the High Profile Type
1. If the Anti-Roll Plate is set, tilt the Anti-Roll Plate and vacuum
suction port toward you.
2. Tilt toward you the disposable blade mounting lever indicated in
red, to unlock the disposable blade [1].
3. Remove the Low Profile adapter, if currently installed. Refer to
p. 2-10 for details.
4. Insert the new disposable blade between the blade holder and
stage [2].
5. Push out the old disposable blade, if it still remains [3].
6. Use the handle of a brush, etc., to adjust the position of the
disposable blade so that it becomes parallel with the stage [4].
7. Tilt away from you the disposable blade mounting lever
indicated in red, to lock the disposable blade [5].
Refer to p. 2-10 if you want to change the High Profile type to
the Low Profile type.
When inserting the disposable blade, be careful not to let any
contaminant enter the clamp.
