Various Settings
Setting the Sectioning End Position
If motorized sectioning is performed by selecting the PAUSE mode on the [MOTORIZED] Tab Screen,
sectioning will pause every time the preset sectioning end position is reached. Sectioning can be stopped at
the adjusted position before the section is cut off. Note that this position can be changed regardless of
whether the motorized sectioning mode is TRIM, FINE or PAUSE.
This function is effective only in the PAUSE mode.
1. Press the "Sectioning End Position Adjustment" button on the
[MOTORIZED] Tab Screen.
2. The sectioning end position adjustment screen appears.
3. Turn the handwheel to move the specimen head to the setting
position where you want to stop the specimen head. As the
handwheel rotates, the specimen head in the chamber moves
according to the value.
As long as the value is in the settable range, the value is
highlighted. Once out of the settable range, the value is shown
in red and cannot be registered.
4. Pressing the "Enter" button at a value highlighted in white saves
the setting, after which the display returns to the [TUNING] Tab
Screen.
Pressing the "Enter" button at a value shown in red closes the
screen without saving the setting.
Press the "Close" button to close the screen without saving the
setting.
If no operation has been performed for 5 minutes, the setting is
not saved and the screen closes automatically.
