Motorized Sectioning Tab Screen (DM only)
The [MOTORIZED] Tab Screen is used for motorized sectioning using the motor, where selecting the
MOTORIZED tab displays the current setting information and setting buttons needed to perform motorized
sectioning.
The MOTORIZED tab covers three motorized sectioning modes.
The "TRIM Mode" screen lets you perform rough shaving to the TRIM thickness, the "FINE Mode" screen
lets you perform final shaving, and the "PAUSE Mode" screen lets you pause final shaving at the sectioning
end position.
A desired TRIM thickness, section thickness and sectioning end position can be set beforehand. Press the
"Motorized Sectioning Mode Selection" button to change the mode.
TRIM Mode Screen
In the TRIM mode, rough shaving is performed to the preset feed amount (TRIM thickness).
While in the TRIM mode, the TRIM thickness is displayed in an icon at the bottom of the screen. Refer to p.
1-31 for information on how to change the TRIM thickness.
The chamber temperature and specimen head temperature in the temperature setting mode selected on
the SECTION Tab become effective.
To change these temperatures, change them in the FREE mode or Temperature Setting 1/2 mode.
