Dual Aspectizer Board Installation – Synergy 1
This section provides instructions for installing the Dual Aspectizer on the Synergy 1 Frame
Processor Board . The following topics are discussed:
• Installing the Dual Aspectizer Board
• Upgrading the Dual Aspectizer
Installing the Dual Aspectizer Board
Use the following procedure to install the Aspectizer option:
1. Power down the Synergy 1 frame.
2. Carefully remove the Synergy 1 Frame Processor Board (4216A-001B) from the
frame, and set it on a clean, flat, static free surface, with the rear of the board away from
you.
3. Unpack the Aspectizer kit , which consists of one Aspectizer Module (4000A-050).
4. Locate the three sockets labeled
Option Conn
on the Synergy 1 Frame Processor
Board , near the right, front of the board. Refer to the diagram below.

Important The Aspectizer option is mutually exclusive with the Ultimatte
Insider option. Only one of the two can be installed at any time.
Caution
Observe all static discharge precautions throughout the procedure.
