Verify that the Probe Type and Probe Length are correct.

Fieldbus parameters:
TRANSDUCER 1100 > PROBE_TYPE
TRANSDUCER 1100 > PROBE_LENGTH
Check that the correct probe type is chosen. Normally, the probe type is
pre-configured at the factory, but if the current configuration does not match the
actual probe, choose the correct
Probe Type
from the list.
The Rosemount 5300 Series Transmitter automatically makes some initial
calibrations based on the chosen
Probe Type
. The following probe types are
available:
Rigid twin
Flexible twin
Coaxial, coaxial HP, coaxial HTHP
Rigid single, rigid single HTHP/HP/C, rigid single PTFE
Flexible single, flexible single HTHP/HP/C, flexible single PTFE
The
Probe Length
is the distance from the upper reference point to the end of the
probe, see
. If the probe is anchored to a weight, do not include the
height of the weight. The probe length needs to be changed if, for example, the
probe is shortened.
