Replacing Consumable Parts

Replacing the Wiper

The wiper is a component that is used for cleaning the print heads. When the screen displays a message like
the one shown below, it is time to replace the items. There are two wipers. Replace both wipers with new ones.

For information about purchasing wipers, contact your authorized Roland DG Corp. dealer.

CAUTION

Be sure to perform operations as specified by the instructions, and never

touch any area not specified in the instructions.

Failure to observe these instructions may cause the machine to move suddenly,
resulting in injury.
