Perform the following checks before commissioning or recommissioning:
General inspection
1.
Has the kiln been delivered complete and undamaged?
2.
Correct installation according to documentation and attachment to the floor.
3.
Are all parts of the kiln functional and properly connected?
4.
There are no foreign objects on or in the kiln.
5.
Is the exhaust air duct attached correctly?
6.
Is the required protective equipment correctly installed and working?
7.
Is the kiln correctly connected to the power supply?
8.
Is the power plug properly engaged or locked?
9.
Do the connected values of the kiln match the local power grid as stated on the nameplate?
10.
Are the protective conductor and equipotential bonding line adequately designed and correctly
connected?
11.
Is the control unit correctly connected to the kiln?
12.
Has the control system bracket been correctly installed and is it sufficiently far away from hot surfaces?
13.
Are all other electrical cables OK?

Ensure that the following protective systems, in particular, are functional:
Mechanical protection systems check
1.
Correct fit and function of the protective systems.
2.
Correct attachment of the warning signs.
3.
Observance of the traffic routes on-site (e.g., industrial trucks).
4.
Sufficient clearances at the operating location.

Electrical protection systems check
1.
The perfect, functional condition of the circuit breakers/safety contactors/switching relays.
2.
Check the safety-relevant inputs and outputs used.

7.3.
Connecting the control unit
The control unit is connected to the kiln via a 14-pin plug-in screw connection with a bayonet lock (CPC-14).
The black socket provided for this is located on the back wall of the kiln or the back wall of the switch box mounted on
the kiln.

Optionally and depending on the equipment of the kiln, a 19-pin plug-in screw connection with a bayonet lock
(CPC-19) can also be used.
