General safety information
DANGER
Risk of serious personal injury or death and material damage to the kiln by touching live parts
when operating.
⇒
Only carry out maintenance, troubleshooting, cleaning and repair work when the kiln is
in a safe and de-energised state.
⇒
Trip all necessary circuit breakers to avoid accidentally touching live parts.
⇒
Pull out the power plug or switch off the electrical power to the equipment.
⇒
Before starting work, you must check whether the kiln can be switched on despite
disconnection, deactivation and personal assurances etc. and whether there is still
residual energy in the kiln.

Disregarding these original operating instructions can lead to serious personal injury, property
damage and even death.

Use the kiln only as intended and in a technically perfect condition!
DANGER
Risk of serious personal injury and property damage and even death due to changes to the
kiln.
Note that:
•
Modifications to the kiln that are carried out without the knowledge and consent of the
manufacturer and its subsequent continued use are considered improper.
•
The kiln may not be modified or changed without the knowledge and written consent of
the manufacturer.
•
The manufacturer assumes no liability for any resulting damage – the operator bears the
sole risk.
•
In the event of unauthorised changes to the kiln, all warranty claims become void.
DANGER
Risk of the most serious personal injury and property damage and even death by entering the
hazardous area or reaching into the hazardous area or bypassing safety devices.

Make sure that the hazardous area is not entered or impinged!
Note that:
•
Bypassing protective equipment is prohibited!
•
It is forbidden to climb onto the kiln!
•
No persons or other work equipment should be in the hazardous area of the kiln while it
is in operation!
•
No objects may be placed on the kiln while it is in operation!
WARNING
Risk of serious personal injury from burns and scalds, especially to the hands, face (eyes) and
upper body:
•
by touching or approaching
hot kiln components
hot exhaust elements or
•
from hot air that escapes when the kiln door is opened.
