Replacement
Note: When replacing a V05-20-05 module (shown on the top ID
tag) with the newer V05-20-15 module, refer to Section 3.14.3
before installing the new module.
Insure that DIP switches S1 & S2 are set correctly,
compare with the unit being replaced.
Re-install using the reverse order listed in Section
3.2.1 – Removal.
Be sure that all connections are tight and that the
wires are installed in their original locations.
Once all connections have been terminated and
checked, remove the lock-out and power can be applied
to the machine. When first starting up, leave the
electrical cabinet door open and observe the startup
sequence on the servo drives. After cycling through a
sequence of numbers (3, 4, 5, 7…) an error code of – 6 3
2 0 – will cycle on most of the servo drives.
The Power Control Module will have LED 1, 2 & 3 on
or flashing green.
LED BTB will be on and Uz ok LED will be off.
The firmware and parameters will need to be loaded
by Rittal Automation Systems – Technical Support. From
the windows screen, start TeamViewer and notify us
that you are ready for Firmware updates to the new
controller.
