Remove the left side cover.

Confirm the location of the two
guide pins and two hooks on the
duplex unit, as well as the corre-
sponding cutouts and holes on
the paper feed unit and the print-
er.

Attach the duplex unit to the
printer.
Insert the two guide pins on the
duplex unit to the cutouts on the
paper feed unit, and insert the
hooks on the duplex unit to the
holes on the printer while slightly
lifting up the duplex unit. Then
push in the duplex unit against the
printer.
H
Open the upper portion of the du-
plex unit.
Gently open the upper portion us-
ing the left and right inset grips.
