4.2 SERVICE CALL CONDITIONS
4.2.1 SUMMARY
There are 2 levels of service call conditions.
Level
Definition Reset
Procedure
A
Fusing unit SCs displayed on the
operation panel. The machine is disabled.
The user cannot reset the SC.
Turn the main switch off then on
before entering SP mode. Reset
the SC (set SP5-810 to 1), then
turn the main switch off then on
again.
B
Turning the operation switch or main
power switch off then on resets the SC.
Displayed on the operation panel. Re-
displayed if they occurred after the main
power switch is turned on again.
Turn the operation switch or
main power switch off and on.
All SCs are logged.
•
The number of SC codes detected can be checked with SP7-902.
•
Printing logging data (SP5-990-004) in SP mode can check the latest 10 SC
codes detected and total counters when the SC code is detected.
NOTE:
1) If the problem concerns electrical circuit boards, first disconnect then
reconnect the connectors before replacing the PCBs.
2) If the problem concerns a motor lock, first check the mechanical load
before replacing motors or sensors.
