3-10-5. DRU
1. Open the upper unit.
2. Remove the transport guide plate [A] (5
screws, 1 earth wire).
3. Remove the DRU [B] (4 screws, 7 connec-
tors).

1. Remove the upper front cover (see sec-
tion 3-1-1).
2. Remove 2 plates ([A] and [B] in section 3-
10-1).
3. Open the upper unit and take out the
master unit.
Caution:
• Do not expose the master unit to light.
• Keep it in a shaded place and cover it with
paper.
• Do not touch the master belt surface.
4. Take out the development unit.
