2. 

To paint the container:

•  Remove all loose labels.
•  Remove grease, tar etc. with a suitable solvent, e.g.  toluene.
•  Wash the container with a solution of detergent and water and rinse with 

clean water.  

•  Fill any cracks or voids in the gelcoat with GRP filler as per Step 1 above.
•  Spray paint one coat of white Polyurethane paint.

Replace damaged or illegible labels. Re-stencil illegible markings.  

9.  Service Documents

A. 

A service record of inflatable liferaft shall be filled up properly after completion of 
each service work for a liferaft. Fill in all blanks with no mistakes.

B. 

After the completion of the service for a qualified liferaft, a certificate (attached with 
the service record) shall be issued in quadruplicate, the original is submitted to the 
ship owner, one copy to the administrative organization, one will be kept by the 
service station itself for review and one to Revere Survival Inc.

C. 

The service record shall be signed by the inspector and the serviceman, while the 
certificate shall be signed by the chief of the service station.
