19. If not attaching container to cradle, secure approximately 1ft. of the protruding
painterline to container top with a small piece of vinyl tape.
20. If attaching container to cradle:
• Place container onto cradle and position it firmly in the center.
• Connect hydrostatic release unit to the front of the cradle frame using a
long D-shackle
• Connect the metal hold down strap to the back of the cradle frame using
an anchor shackle and turnbuckle.
• Bring the hold down strap over the top of the container and secure it to the
hydrostatic release unit using the quick release pelican hook on the front
of the strap. Use turnbuckle to tighten strap down.
• Attach another anchor shackle to the weak point on the HRU.
• Pass the painterline through the anchor shackle and secure with a bowline
knot and tape.

21. Make sure all labels are placed on the container and filled out completely.
