27. Place ID Tube underneath container lip and lashing strap.
28. Place the inspection sticker on top of the container.
29. If not attaching container to cradle, secure approximately 1ft. of the protruding
painterline to container top with a small piece of vinyl tape.
30. If attaching container to cradle:
• Place container onto cradle and position it firmly in the center.
• Connect hydrostatic release unit to the front of the cradle frame using an
U-shackle and turnbuckle.
• Connect the cable lashing cord to the back of the cradle frame using wire
clips.
• Bring the lashing cords over the top of the container and secure it to the
hydrostatic release unit using the quick release hook on the front of the
cords. Use turnbuckle to tighten down.
• Attach D-shackle to the weak point on the HRU.
• Pass the painterline through the anchor shackle and secure with a bowline
knot and tape.
