placer le levier de commande en position pol11t-mort,

vt!rifier que les cones soient bien embrayes.

Refitting the control system
:

reassembly :

place in position
:
the 0 ring on the control shaft.
the shaft in the flange,
the control lever and fix It with a split pin.
the

ring In the fla11ge.
screw back in place the neutral point system (according to the order : Ball/spring/screw).
place the control lever in the neutral point position.
screw in 3 turns tl1e stop system =2 . g ru b screws.
put back in place the control finger.
b)
refitting
place the control lever in the neutral point position.
put back i n position the control assembly, engaging the control finger in the groove of the
double cone.
tfghten the

screws holding the flange.
refit the remote control support.
adjust the setting of gearbox.
refill the gearbox.

Adjusting the setting of the gearbox :
So as . io obtain
a
correct operating of 1he gearbox, their should be equal travel between the
neutral point and the FORWARD gear and between · th e neutral point and the REVERSE gear.
a)
adjusting the length of travel
This c0nsis1s In placing In the right position the male double cone in relationship With both
femaJe cones when clutch lever is positioned in neutral.
untighten and unscrew the selllocking screws of stops « 1 » and u2» (Fig. E121 and the clutch
flange fixation screws «3».
place the clutch lever in the neutral point position.
Orientate the clutch flange in one direction or in the other, so as to
center the lever in relationship with the FORWARD and REVERSE
positions.
tighten the fixation screws «3» and check the length of travel of' the
lever. The maximum lenght of movement of the lever at the control
linkage atta.chment p · oin t is
70
mm.
b)
FORWARD gear movement stop :
bring the Jever in FORWARD gear position. the outlet ro . undel is locked
in one direction.
screw in the step screw «1 » till obtaining
a
very slight displacement of
of the control lever.
bring the lever back to neutral position and then bring it
forward
again
to the FORWARD gear position. and check that the cones are correctly
engaged.

REVERSE gear movement stop :
proceed in the same way as outlined above for the FORWARD gear, but
using the stop screw «2».
