The block diagram transforms and indicates schematically that the GNSS signal is
configured in one common baseband block.
The signals of first two streams are preconfigured, where the indication
L<#>,V<#>,A<#>
designates the RF band, the vehicle number and the antenna
number.
4. To start generation with the default settings, select "GNSS > On".
The generated GNSS signal is sufficient for a receiver to get a position fix.
The simulated GNSS system depends on the installed options. For instance, if
R&S
SMW-K44 is installed, it is as follows:
● GPS C/A signal in the L1 band
● GPS L2C signal in the L2 band
● Simulation start time is 19.02.2014, 6
am UTC time.
● One static receiver with one isotropic antenna, located in Munich.
The L1 signal is routed to the RF A output; the L2 signal to the RF B.
To change the routing, select "GNSS > Simulation Configuration > Output
Streams".
Further configuration, like for example adjusting the timing settings, changing the satel-
lites constellation or defining the atmosphere effects, are applied as for the standard
GNSS configuration.
