Command
Summary
The Modulation Commands controls amplitude and phase modulation
parameters. Optional modes may be omitted from these commands. Factory
defaults after *RST are shown in bold typeface. Parameter low and high limits
are given where applicable.

Trigger Command
Summary
The Trigger commands control the trigger modes of the Model 3162B. The
Model 3162B can be placed in Triggered, Gated or Burst mode. Trigger source
is selectable from an external source, internal trigger generator, backplane
TTLTrg 0-3, ECLTrg0, or a software trigger. Optional modes are omitted from
these commands. Factory defaults after *RST are shown in bold typeface.

PLL Command
Summary
PLL commands control the PLL mode and the phase offsets versus another
reference. The reference signal is applied either to a front panel connector or
through one of the VXIbus trigger lines. The Model 3162B in PLL mode, can be
used as a slave only. After lock, the generator’s output frequency is exactly
equal to the frequency of the reference signal. Note that the PLL lock range
depends on the number of waveform samples, sampling frequency and external
reference frequency. The relationship between these parameters is shown in
Appendix A. Also included in this section are phase offset command. The
