Selecting a Standard
Function Shape
Use the following command to select a standard output function:
FUNCtion:SHAPe {SINusoid | TRIangle | SQUare | PULSe |
RAMP | SINC | EXPonential | GAUSsian | NOISe | DC}
The selected waveform is output using the previously selected frequency,
amplitude, offset, and other relevant settings. The standard waveform will be
output only after the FUNC:MODE:FIX command is selected.
The query:
FUNCtion:SHAPe?
queries the standard function shape and returns either SIN, TRI, SQU, PULS,
RAMP, SINC, EXP, GAUS, NOIS or DC.
