DX-Series Remote
Management
The DX-Series system utilizes a web-based interface which
allows you to configure and manage the DX-Series system from a
remote workstation on the same network. The DX-Series system
is managed through the following web pages (accessible using
Internet browser software installed on the host computer):

Home
allows you to view the status of all system
components.
•
Configuration
allows you to set up information about the
DX-Series system such as network, date and time,
passwords, and Fibre Channel port settings and device
mappings.
•
System Status
allows you to view the status of the emulated
tape drives, cartridges, and robot, as well as system
performance.
•
Remote Alerts
allows you to set up e-mail messages and
SNMP alerts to alert you when certain events occur on the
DX-Series system.
•
Licensing
allows you to view the license agreement as well as
add license keys to enable optional product features.
•
Utilities
allows you to upload and activate new firmware
revisions as well as configuration files.
