The user can go to the Global Mode and add a port to ipv6 multicast group, use the
ipv6 mld snooping
static
Global command.
Syntax
ipv6 mld snooping static <macaddr> vlan <vlan-id> interface {<slot/port> | port-channel
<portchannel-id>}
no ipv6 mld snooping static <macaddr> vlan <vlan-id> interface {<slot/port> | port-channel
<portchannel-id>}
<macaddr>
- Static MAC address.
<vlan-id>
- VLAN ID (Range: 1
– 4093).
<slot/port>
- Interface number.

The user can go to the CLI VLAN database Mode to set MLD Snooping on a particular VLAN, use the
set mld <vlan-id>
vlan configuration command. Use the
no set mld <vlan-id>
to disable MLD
Snooping on a particular VLAN.
