OPTIMIZING PRINT QUALITY
After 200 1-sided pages (or
100 2-sided pages) of a
continuous print run of plain
paper, the magicolor 6100
automatically pauses for 3
minutes to cool down the
engine. This occurs for
monochrome or color
printing. After this initial
cooldown pause, the printer
automatically resumes
printing. From that point
forward while doing
continuous printing, the
3-minute cooldown pause
occurs every 50 pages until
the continuous printing stops.
After an extended idle period,
this 50-page limit
automatically resets to 200
pages. This process is
provided to maintain the rated
duty cycle of the printer and
to ensure reliable printer
operation.
Wait. No action
needed.

on all models except the DP)
rear door is open.
