Online, Tray, Cancel, Status, and Copy
Buttons
The Online, Tray, Status, and Cancel buttons access frequently used
printer options. The Copy function is only available when the Crown-
Copy option is installed.
The Online button switches the printer from
on line to off line status. Press the button
once to take the printer off line when it is on
line and once to return the printer to on line
when it is off line.
When the printer goes off line, the
communication ports are closed, so no new
data is accepted. The printer continues
printing until it has finished all jobs in
process. Although jobs continue to compile
and print using the data already received, a
job may be interrupted, causing it to wait for
more incoming data before printing
resumes.
If a local or remote console session has
taken the printer off line, pressing the
Online button on the control panel will not
take effect until the local or remote console
session is over.

You must take the printer off
line before using all other buttons
except the Status, Cancel, and Copy
buttons if CrownCopy is installed.
