6. PrintNet in Auto mode in 10mbps Half Duplex environment
(determined using 10 mbps Half Duplex hub)
Use auto-negotiation to the highest common local and remote
capability, i.e. 10 mbps Half Duplex in this case.
PORs to 10 mbps Half Duplex. Resets to 10 mbps Half Duplex.
Reconnection at switch maintains 10 mbps Half Duplex.
NOTE: With parallel detection, only speed can be determined. The
duplex mode sets to half duplex.
Conventions Used in this Manual
All uppercase print indicates control panel keys.
Example: Press the CLEAR key, then press the ONLINE key.
Quotation marks (“ ”) indicate messages on the Liquid Crystal
Display (LCD).
Example: Press the ONLINE key. “OFFLINE” appears on the LCD.
