ACCESSORY DRIVE BOX - CLEANING AND PAINTING
1.
Inspection and cleaning of the oil injector holes in the accessory drive box (Dwg 701).
A.
Perform the operations during the inspection and cleaning as follows:
(1)
Remove the expanding ring (2) from the accessory drive box (1) with the help of the pliers.
(2)
Install the instrument (9) (see 72-02-00, Table 2 0 1 , item 24) in the oil injector (3) chamber and
expand the catches (8). Remove the oil injector from the accessory drive box screwing in the bolt
(10).
(3)
Wash the oil injector with clean benzin (see 72-02-00,, Table 202, item 4) and dry with pressured
air.
(4)
Check the cleanness of two Ø0,6 mm (0.024 dia) holes (4) of the injector (3) with help of the
magnifying glass. Clean the holes using the brass wire of Ø0,5 mm (0.020 dia) if any
contaminations are found.
(5)
Clean the oil injector with clean benzin (see 72-02-00, Table 202, item 4) and blow through with
pressured air.
NOTE:
If the oil injector holes remain chocked, replace the oil injector for the new one (72-02-00,
Table 203, item 65).
(6)
Inspect the sealing rings (5) and (6) for tears, cracks and dents. If any damages are found, replace
the sealing rings for the new ones (see 72-02-00, Table 203, items 66 and 67).
(7)
Insert the oil injector (3) into the seat in the accessory drive box case
( 1 ) .
NOTE:
inserting the injector, pay attention that the dowel (7) in the seat of the accessory drive
box case enters the appropriate cutaway in the injeçtor flange.
(8)
Inspect the expanding ring (2) for damages. In the case of the damage, replace the expanding ring
for the new one (see 72-02-00, Table 203, item 68).
(9)
Insert the expanding ring into the accessory drive box case with the help of the pliers.
