To store mail locally:
Do This

1. Insert the document face down in the Document
Feeder.
2. Press FEATURES.
3. Press 3 or
t

three times and then YES.
4. Press YES.
5. Press 2 then YES.
6. Enter the two-digit number of the Mailbox you want
to store mail in.
The number appears in the
display.
7. Press YES after entering the Mailbox number.
8. If the correct Mailbox name is displayed, press YES.
9. A Mailbox Confirmation Report is printed
automatically. This Report lists the date, time
Mailbox #, addressee (Mailbox name), the name of
the sender and the number of pages stored. Refer to
Section 5.6.4, #4 and #5 for additional information.
The document is scanned into
the Mailbox(es) you specified.
NOTES:
1. The mail will remain stored in the Mailbox until retrieved by an authorized
individual. When an authorized person prints the mail (by following directions
in Section 6.2.3), it is erased from memory after printing. If a remote fax
operator retrieves the mail, the Model 2030 will normally erase it from
memory. If you would like the Model 2030 to save all mail in the Mailboxes
indefinitely until purposely erased by a user or Key Operator, please call the
Pitney Bowes Diagnostic Center listed in the back of this Guide. This feature
