3. Select the type of transaction you want to program.
Press either 1, 2, etc., then YES.
The above is displayed when
either 1, 2, 3 or 4 is selected. If
5 (MAILBOX) is selected, the
display will ask for the Mailbox
# first.
4. Enter your personal PBX Access Code for all phone
calls going through your PBX.
NOTE: Your PBX may not require an Access Code to
dial all destinations (i.e. other locations within your
building). If you are, sending to multiple
destinations, you may have to group them into
separate jobs. One job should contain all
destinations requiring a PBX Access Code during
dialing. Locations not requiring a PBX Access Code
should be grouped together in a different job.
The cursor moves with each
entry. No numbers appear in
the display.
5. Press YES and continue programming the AutoDial
job as you normally would. See Section 5.3 for more
information on entering Programmable AutoDial
Jobs.
6.2 Mailbox Functions
Your Model 2030 allows you to designate up to 10 secure, private Mailboxes.
Only users with proper clearance can access this part of the machine’s memory.
All mailboxes are secure. This allows a number of confidential operations,
including:
•
placement of confidential documents into your Mailboxes for retrieval at a
later time by authorized individuals
•
transmittal of confidential documents to remote fax private Mailboxes
•
receipt of confidential documents into your unit’s private Mailboxes;
printing is only possible when the addressee uses a security code to
retrieve them
•
mailbox messages can either be printed locally or polled (retrieved) from
remote locations.
