The Video Adjust Menu

Setting the picture
quality for disc
playback

This setting determines how the
picture will look when playing
discs.

Choosing a preset

With a disc playing (or paused),
press SETUP and select ‘Video
Adjust’ from the menu.

Move the joystick up/down to
select ‘Rec YNR’ or ‘Rec CNR’.

Rec YNR

is the noise reduction

applied to the brightness component
of the video signal.

Rec CNR

is the noise reduction

applied to the color component of the
video signal.
