Getting Started

Playing in slow motion

After pausing playback, you can
use the Jog dial on the remote or
the

SMART JOG

on the front

panel to control the direction and
speed of slow motion playback.

• Video CD only supports forward

slow motion playback.

• The picture quality during slow

motion playback is not as good as
during normal playback.

• Depending on the disc, normal

playback may automatically resume
when a new chapter is reached.

During playback, press

PAUSE.

Remote:

Turn the Jog dial to start

slow motion playback.

Front panel:

Press FUNCTION

until the display shows PAUSE,
then use the SMART JOG to
start slow motion playback.

Turn clockwise for forward slow
motion playback; counter-clockwise
for reverse slow motion playback.

• The scanning speed is shown on-

screen.

• There is no sound during slow

motion playback
