Timer Recording

After making the settings, press ENTER.
The program details are shown at the bottom of the
screen for a few seconds then the screen is
automatically exited.
If you haven’t set up the guide channels (or at least
the guide channel for the G-Code programming
number that you entered), the recorder will prompt
you to enter the channel number that the TV program
is showing on.

Make sure that you switch the recorder into
standby before the timer recording is due to
start.
Timer recording will not work if the recorder is left on!
• The recorder will automatically switch on two
minutes before the timer recording is due to start.
• If you need to check or change anything in the
program, press
SETUP
, then
ENTER
to display the
timer recording program screen. From here you can
check, change or clear any settings you want.
• To calculate whether the recordings programmed
will fit on the disc loaded, move the cursor up to
Confirm
and press
ENTER
. (Keep moving the
cursor up past

Confirm

G-Code programming with the power
off
You can enter a G-Code programming number
when the recorder is in standby.
• You can’t use this feature until you have set up the
guide channels. See
page 26
.
• You can’t change the recording mode.
• You can’t program daily or weekly timer recordings.

Press G-CODE.
The front panel display shows the current recording
mode and prompts you to enter the G-Code
programming number.

programming number.
• To clear the last digit entered, press
CLEAR

Press ENTER.
The display shows the timer settings: Date

Start
time
=
End time
=
Recording mode/channel.
• If
CODE ERROR
appears in the display, check the
G-Code number and start again from step 1.
• If
CANNOT RECORD
appears in the display, it
means that although you entered a valid G-Code
number, the program cannot be recorded for some
other reason (if there is a timer recording already
set for that time, for example).
