The magnetiser should be fed by a d. c. of not
less than 22 - 24 V - 90 A which can be furni­
shed by an accumulator, converter unit or rec­
tifier.
FLYWHEEL MAGNETO TESTING AND TIMING
l. - With normal flywheel overhauls ( eg. substitu­
tion or magnetization of the flywheel rotor, cam
or coil substitution), using the fl

wheel test
bench, the contact breaker points should start
to open when the keyway on the cam passes
the centre line of the H. T. coil, opposite to said
keyway, by 8

( as indicated in fig. 27).

l. - En las revisiones generales del volante ( por ej.:

excentrica, sustituci6n bobinas) si se dispone del
banco de prueba los contacts del ruptor deben
empezar a abrirse cuando la bisectriz de la ra­
nura para chaveta sobrepasa la de la bobina de
