4.3.
P
REARRANGEMENTS
Foresee an installation area with enough free room around the machine for handling and
hoisting. In order to assure precise operation and machine stability, the machine must be
positioned onto a solid reinforced concrete foundation. Evaluation and arrangement of the
foundation must be carried out by specialised personnel at customer’s charge. Make sure the
foundation is strengthened in order to avoid sagging when placing the machine.
4.4.
P
LACING
Upon receipt of the machine, before unloading it from the means of transportation, carry out the
following checks:
-
CHECK the performance of the lift truck, taking into account the total weight of the machine
and the height of the truck;

DO NOT PUT your HANDS on the machine before it is stable on the ground;

DO NOT STAND UNDER the overhanging machine during handling operations;
-
if the machine is moved using rollers, foresee always the trajectory of displacement of the
machine, to avoind risk of crushing, tangling, cutting.
Do not place the machine in areas where there are flammable gas and/or
flammable substances. The production of sparks or the projection of hot
debris/chips could generate fire and/or explosions.
The machine must be placed on a stable floor. Place the machine in the correct place for
working so that all the connections with the electric power plant and the pneumatic power plant
are easy to perform, this is alo true for the shaving suction plant of the user. When the machine
has been transported in the place of use, remove the protective packaging and go on with its
installation.
The machine must be positioned AT LEAST 1500mm from the walls and, in any case, with
enough room to allow normal work and all operations needed for its inspection, ordinary and
extraordinary maintenance (see Figure 4).
The "DANGEROUS AREA" of the machine is an area where the operator must
be take maximum attantion to persons and things that could represent and
obstacle or a danger for normal working operations
Check that in the entire area where the machine is placed there is enough and
correct lightning
The areas all around the mahine must have free rooms for passage so there
are not risks and/or danger for the operator and the material to be worked.
