R
ISK DUE TO NOISE EMISSION LEVELS
The test conditions and results are given in the addendum ANNEX
The operator is advised to use protective equipment, such as good quality
soundproof earphones
.
To prevent the exposure level from increasing to greater than the test values
over time, check the quality of the blades constantly and perform all the
ordinary and extraordinary maintenance interventions needed
The cycle of cutting, loading and unloading the profile needs a medium period of time of about
15/20 seconds. This is a very short period of time so the operator must be continuously close to
te machine, inside the area of noise emission. Besides, the shape and proper characteristics of
the material to be cut (profiles in light alloy with inner cavities) amplify the noise emission values
respect to those obtained during tests without material to be cut.
From the design point of view, there has been choosen to use a A.C. motor to achieve a
compromise between noise level and effectiveness of work.
In relationship t othe use of the machine, it is not possible to ensure that the personal
exposition level is lower than 85 dB(A).
It is therefore necessary to perform internal noise tests, directly in the final workplace, taking
great care the time of exposition to noise, because this value could be overpassed.
NOTE
The indicated noise levels are emission levels and do not necessarily represent safe operation
levels. Even though there is a relation between emission levels and exposure levels, it cannot
be used in a reliable way to determine whether additional precautions are to be taken. The
factors that determine the exposure level that manpower is subjected to include the length of
the exposure, the characteristics of the working place, other sources of dust and noise, etc.,
that is the number of machines and other adjacent processing. Allowed exposure levels may
vary from country to country. In any case, this information will help the user of the machine to
better evaluate danger and risks.

R
ISK DUE TO VIBRATIONS
The vibration level is not so high to cause danger for the operator, during normal and correct
use of the machine, as written in this manual.

P
OWER RESETTING AND REPOSITIONING CYCLE
If one of the various emergency push buttons is engaged, all movements of the actuators are
immediately inhibited. In such a case act as follows with regard to the control panel:
-
disengage the relevant emergency push button and eliminate the trouble that has caused the
emergency-stop;
-
insert power.
