If a KX-TD280 / KX-TD286 is to be installed:
a)
Prepare the required plugs. Two 4-pin plugs are included in KX-TD280, and six 4-pin
plugs are included in KX-TD286 to connect outside lines.
b)
Insert the plug into a jack on the unit.
Connect a grounding wire to the ground terminal on the KX-TD280 or KX-TD286.
Note
•
All ports of the KX-TD280 and KX-TD286 can also be used for internal ISDN
lines. For the KX-TD816, jack numbers S05 and S06 of the KX-TD286 are fixed
as internal ISDN lines. To connect internal ISDN lines, refer to Section
3.2.3
Internal ISDN S0 Line Connection.
