If an IP address have been assigned to a printer, you can access the printer’s Web Server. It
allows monitoring or setting the printer.

Open the browser (Internet Explorer or Netscape).

Enter a printer address in the Address box and press Return key.

The Web Server screen is displayed.

Ex.
http://172.16.xxx.xxx/

Display the Web Server screen (see above).

Click Network Setup in the left pane.

The Enter Network Password window is displayed.

Type root in the User name box and click 

.

•If the password is already set, the password must be entered in the Password box.

Click the menu item (TCP/IP, NetWare...) and change the setting.
