Perform the following steps to set up.
Step 1: Setting up the printer
Step 2: Setting up the Server
Step 3: Setting up the client (for Windows 95 / Windows 98 / Windows Me)
There are two printing modes.
•Print server (PSERVER) mode
•Remote printer (RPRINTER) mode
Before setting up, select a printing mode. For further detailed information of these modes,
refer to the NetWare online manual. You may need to consult with your network administrator
which to select.
The setting of the NetWare server is almost performed on the client. You must login into the
server using the supervisor privilege. NetWare network client or Novell Client software must
be installed in your computer prior to setting up.

Step 1: Setting up the printer
When printing in Print Server mode, refer to procedures 1 to 12 of “Using NDS - PSERVER
mode” on
page 80
in “In NetWare 4.x / NetWare 5”. However, click on the Bindery Setup
check box at step 10.
When printing in Remote Print mode, refer to procedures 1 to 12 of “Using NDS - RPRINTER
mode” on
page 86

Start the server system.
In NetWare 3.x
