Setting the fax to email
destinations
Select email destinations where you want to automatically send received fax
documents to (up to 6 destinations).
Important:

Program the email server settings (page 93), and the email destinations
(page 95) beforehand.
1.
Start Multi-Function Station.

Type
“root”
as the user name, then enter the password (feature #155 on

4.
Select
[FAX FEATURE]
from the menu.
5.
Select
[ON]
from the
[FAX AUTO EMAIL]
drop-down list.
6.
If necessary, select
[ON]
from
[PASSWORD PDF]
drop-down list and enter a
4-digit password.
7.
Click
[Edit]
next to
[DESTINATION]
.
8.
Click
[Address Book]
next to the desired destination.
9.
Click the name that you want to send the received fax documents to.
10. [Submit]

Close the web browser.

To check the status of the last 15 transfers, click
[List]
next to
[RESULT]

Setting the information
for scan to FTP server
When you send scanned files to an FTP server, you can register the FTP server
destinations (up to 6 destinations) to the unit through the web browser interface.

[SCAN FEATURE]
from the menu.

Click
[Edit]
next to
[FTP SERVER]
.
6.
Click
[Edit]
next to the desired FTP server.
7.
Enter the server name, IP address, folder path, etc.

[Submit]
8.
Close the web browser.
Note:

If you do not enter a folder path in step 7, the scanned image will be saved in the
root folder.
