Using the Start menu
1 Press Home and then press
Start (left softkey).
2 Navigate to the application you want:
•
If the app appears in the list, press
Up or Down to highlight it.
•
Press More (left softkey) to view
additional apps. Press Back to
return to the previous list of apps.
•
If the app you want does not appear
in any list, it may reside in a folder
such as Office Mobile or Accessories.
To view the apps in a folder, highlight
the folder and press
Center .
Press Back to exit the folder and
return to the list of apps.
3 Press Center to open the
highlighted app.
Using shortcuts
To open Contacts: Press Home and
then press Contacts (right softkey).
To open Internet Explorer Mobile: Press
and hold the Side button.
To open a recently used application:
Press Home , press Right or Left
to highlight the app icon at the top of the
screen, and then press
Center .
TIP
In the list of apps, a letter appears to the
left of each app name. To quickly open an app,
press
Home , press Start (left softkey), and
then press the corresponding letter key on the
keyboard.
DID YOU KNOW
?
If you install additional
applications on your smartphone (see
Installing applications), items on the Start
menu may move down the list from their
original location. Continue pressing
More until
the application you want appears.
