The lid and the pressure controller must be regularly

disassembled and cleaned. For proper assembly refer to

the image. If parts are not properly assembled, it might

lead to a breakdown or an accident while using the device.

1.  Place the nozzle clamp into the lid hole and fasten the

nut. Insert the nozzle unit. Pic. C-6-1

2.  Turn and lock the nozzle unit. (Turn the unit so that

the notch on it aligns with the part marked with small

arrows in on the picture). Pic. C-6-2

3.  Place the pressure controller by combining its protrud-

ing inner part with the deepening of the nozzle unit.

Push it in until it clicks. Pic. C-6-3

4.  Secure the lid of the pressure controller by pressing it

lightly and turning it clockwise until it clicks.

If the pressure level regulator is in a wrong position, steam

will escape around the edge of the lid and heat the lid.

Check the controller before using the device, if necessary,

disassembled and reassembled it correctly, Pic. C-7. If

steam escapes after that, you should contact the author-

ized service center OURSSON AG. When the device is

used for a long time, the sealing ring and some parts of

the pressure controller wear down. It is highly recom-

mended to check them every 6 months or 1 year and

replace if necessary.

1.  To remove the controller, hold the rubber parts inside

the lid and gently pull in the direction shown by arrow.

Pic. C-7-1

2.  The controller with its rubber sheath is removed. Pic.

C-7-2

3.  Push the protruding pin in the direction shown by ar-

row. Pic. C-7-3

4.  Controller with recessed pin. Pic. C-7-4

It is also dangerous to use the device if some of its com-

ponents are damaged. Stop using the device and contact

the authorized service center Oursson AG to replace the

damaged parts. All lid parts and parts of the pressure

controller can be washed with water. Disassemble and

clean them regularly.
