Running a test sequence from MADSEN OTOflex 100

In test mode the sequence currently selected is shown at the top of the test screen.

Starting a sequence

When you have selected a sequence, press and hold the right softkey to start the sequence.

The sequence starts as soon as probe seal is achieved.

Stopping a sequence

If a leak is detected or the probe is removed from the patient's ear, the sequence pauses automatically.

You can stop the sequence manually, for instance by pressing the

Pressure Release

key on MADSEN

OTOflex 100.

patient's ear, the sequence pauses automatically. The sequence will automatically resume from the pause state when
seal has been reestablished.

The sequence continues from where it was paused. An interrupted reflex stimulus will be repeated.

If the leak occurs during the tympanometric measurement, the tympanometry part of the sequence will

not be repeated. Press

Stop

and restart the sequence if you need to repeat the tympanometric measurement.

Screening

You can perform Tympan Reflex Screening (T+RS) as a sequence from the Tympanometry test screen.
