4.5 Starting and switching off the UPS system
NOTE

Before starting the UPS system, check whether all consum-
ers are switched off. After starting the UPS system, switch on
the consumers one after the other.

Switch off all consumers before switching off the UPS system.
4.5.1 Starting the UPS system with mains power supply
1. Switch the input switches MAIN 1 and MAIN 2 on the rear side
of the UPS system to the "ON" position.
The display on the front side of the UPS system lights up and
briefly displays the ONLINE logo.
2. The UPS system is in bypass mode.
3. Press the button on the UPS system for at least one sec-
ond. An audio signal will be emitted. Several seconds later,
the UPS system will switch to normal mode. If the mains pow-
er supply is malfunctioning, the UPS system will switch to bat-
tery mode.
4.5.2 Starting the UPS system without mains power supply
NOTE
The starting in battery mode can be disabled (see Settings
menu - DC start).
1. Briefly press the button on the UPS system.
The display on the front side of the UPS system lights up and
briefly displays the ONLINE logo.
2. The UPS system is in standby mode.
3. Press the button on the UPS system for at least one sec-
ond. An audio signal will be emitted. Several seconds later,
the UPS system switches to battery mode. If the mains power
supply switches on again, the UPS system will switch to nor-
mal mode without interruption.
