3.5.3 Connecting the external battery modules
NOTE
A maximum of two battery modules may be connected.
CAUTION
Batteries can pose an electric shock risk or catch fire due to
high short-circuit currents. Therefore the procedure for con-
necting the external battery module must be strictly complied
with.
1. Open the fuses on the battery modules (see Figure 7)

2. Connect the terminal strip of the first external battery module
with the terminal strip of the UPS system using the supplied bat-
tery cable. Connect the second external battery pack with the
first external battery pack.
3. Reconnect the fuses to the battery modules.
4. Proceed with section " Connecting the internal battery modules " .
