7.6 Testing the new batteries
1. Press the button for at least one second to enable the menu
options. Select "CONTROL" and then "BATTERY TEST".
2.
Select “YES” and press the
button for at least one second
to start the battery test.
NOTE
Battery test requirements:

UPS system in normal state, no warning message

Bypass voltage acceptable

Load greater than 10%
The battery test (LEDs light up consecutively) takes ten seconds.
The display shows "STATUS: BATTERY TEST PROGRESSING". At
a positive result the display shows "STATUS: BATTERY TEST
PASSED".
7.7 Disposing of old batteries or the UPS system
Contact the recycling centre onsite or a special waste facility for in-
formation on disposing of the old batteries or UPS system properly.
You can also dispose of old batteries at ONLINE at no cost. Please
contact support for this option (see
Support ).
CAUTION

Batteries may not be incinerated. There is a risk of explosion

Batteries must be disposed of properly. Inform yourself about
the local disposal regulations

Do not open or damage the batteries. The battery acid can
attack the eyes and skin as well as cause poisoning
