4. Check whether the UPS system is in the bypass mode
(see
Operating states
).
5. Press the button on the UPS system for at least one second.
An audio signal will be emitted. Several seconds later, the UPS
system will switch to normal mode.
6. If the display of the UPS system displays active warning/error
messages, rectify these problems before you proceed with
commissioning the system (see
Troubleshooting
).
7. Switch the load on and check whether the connected load is
supplied.
8. If an additional battery module is installed, this must be set in
the UPS system (see "
Operation
– Settings menu"
).
9. To change the factory settings, please read the
Settings menu
section in the
Operation
chapter.
10. If an additional emergency-off switch was installed, the emer-
gency-off function must also be checked:
To check this, operate the emergency-off switch and check that
the status switches on the display of the UPS system.
Deactivate the emergency-off switch and restart the UPS system.
NOTE
The internal batteries of the XANTO S 10000 3/1 (XANTO
S 20000 3/1) can be charged to 90% of their capacity in
three (five) hours. ONLINE recommends charging the batter-
ies for 48 hours after installation or after a longer period of
storage. If additional battery modules were installed, please
refer to the charging times in the
Technical Data
chapter.
