Basic key operations in the maintenance mode
Note that on the screen for confirming erasure of the system program, the
“Cancel” and “Set/execute” keys are displayed in reverse video in order to pre-
vent mistaken deletion of the program.
Selecting the Menu Items
Press the
or
key on the panel of the NT11 to move the highlighting up
or down. When the required item is highlighted, press the “ENTER” key to
select it.
Menu items allow to make the ON/OFF selection or to call subsequent menu
or screen.
Example 1
To call the “Maintenance Mode Menu” by selecting the “Maintenance Mode”
on the System Menu screen:

The System Menu items and their functions are given below.
Switching from the System Menu to the RUN mode
The NT11 will exit the System Menu and switch to the RUN mode in the cases
mentioned below.
• Selecting “Quit” in the System Menu.
• The screen (System keys) is not pressed for over 10 seconds.

The System Menu screen is cleared and the NT11 will return to the
RUN mode.
Transmit
Mode
The Transmit Mode screen will be displayed to allow the transmission
of the screen data between the NT11 and the support tool. For the
transmission of the screen data, refer to
3-6 Registering the Screen
Data
(page 69).
Maintenance
Mode
The Maintenance Mode menu will be displayed to allow the mainte-
nance of the NT11 system.
